Eugene Fedorov

Ron Guthrie was raised in Pasadena, California. In High School Ron learned pen & ink techniques that he still uses today. After serving in the Army. Ron attended Pasadena City College studying drawing, painting and design. After college Ron started a family and ran a family business honing his art skills at night. This eventually led to commissions and selling prints of his pen & ink work.
Print sales have been made in almost every state in the US including Alaska and Hawaii as well as Canada, Australia, England and Germany.

In 2005, Ron relocated to Solvang and began a renewed interest in painting after becoming inspired by the scenery of the Central Coast. Ron became involved with the Central Coast art scene and has become active with local Artist Guilds. His work has been juried into many shows at the local, State and National level. Ron is also a Coast Guard Artist with works juried into the Coast Guard Art Collection.
